tui na & Chin Na
Kung-fu
Tui Na & Chin Na are the balance of the Chinese marital arts world. Chin Na is the system of understanding how to break and dismantle the body. Although a style of its own it is based on a philosophy that can be applied to all other fighting styles. Chin Na teaches five basic principles. How to break bones, tear tendons, seal airways, stop the flow of blood and disrupt internal energies. Employing a series of techniques to use these concepts in a fight can add that little extra something to a simple punch or kick often leaving the fight ended before it even began. The system itself uses a series of locks holds and takedowns that can be used during an engagement and can save you if things do not always go the way they are expected. As mentioned, there is a balance however and if one learns how to destroy the body, they can also learn how to fix it in the same way, this is the system of Tui Na. A hands-on approach to being able to heal and adjust the body to prevent ache, pains and misalignment to promote a health life. These systems have been used in Chinese culture for over two thousand years and are still in use today.
